You can LIVE UPDATE here.
You can just manually uninstall the ati stuff if you want, but its not necessary. Do the live update on my previous post.
Install the card driver & enjoy.
i did not solve this problem until i went to the shop today
where i bought my mainboard and exchange it with a board w/ Geforce chipset.
Now, i dont have any problems installing my GeForce 9600 GT anymore,
it just overrided my onboard VGA driver and have my PC back up and
running perfectly fine again . . . i will be more carefull next time in buying M.boards
tnx anyway for the suggestions..
Just disable the onboard graphics in your Bios if,in fact, you need to.It's sparrow fart here atm (having a caffiene intake time) so it may just auto disable the onboard vid if there is one. Driver updates for your Mobo will all be on the MSI site. It's no big deal to install a card so go your hardest.
too late again..glad to see your up and running.
