    Unsupported video configuration decteted Help!


    It reads this computer has an add-in graphics card but the monitor cable is plugged into the integrates video connector to attach the monitor to The add in graphics card 1.shut down the computer 2. Plug the moniter cable into the add-in graphics card connector this may require a video adapter or video adapter cable provided with computer 3. Turn on computer this message shouldnt appear after these steps are done.



    I do not get what this is saying could someone please give the instructions in a more easy to understand way because I don't get what it's telling me to do really thanks!

    What it's saying is that you have an add-in graphics card, meaning you have installed a video card separate from the integrated motherboard video but you have plugged your monitor into your integrated video regardless. You're going to need to turn off your PC as the message says and then plug your monitor into a port on the video card itself then turn the computer back on.

    If you do not have an add-in video card as far as you know, let us know.

    I dont think that I have done that but recently uninstalled my display driver then was going to reinstall but didn't and now I got that message on start up

    What kind of video card do you have? If you could fill out your system specs, it would help troubleshoot this. If you're unsure of what components your systems has, HWiNFO, HWiNFO32 & HWiNFO64 - Hardware Information and Analysis Tools HwInfo32 should be able to help your find out.
