    Graphic card question

I have to types of graphic cards in my laptop. The one is the Intel integerated card and the other one is a Nvidia Geforce. I was wondering if its possible to disable the Intel's graphic card, but I am not sure whether it causes me problem.
    thanks in advance.

The Intel is integrated in the CPU so it is really not a "graphics card". AFAIK, ther isn't a way to disable it unless you have that option in BIOS.

As far as I know unless there is a setting in the bios to disable one or the other, no. Depending on the make and model of your laptop it is likely using this,

    Optimus Technology

which is Nvidia's fancy name for switchable graphics, which uses the integrated Intel for low power or regular use and uses the Nvidia GPU for more demanding graphical tasks (gaming for example).
