    Planning 4 a new GFX Card....


    Hi dears,

    Im planning to buy a 1GB (1024MB) Graphics card... I have two options... NVIDIA or ATI RAEDON... which one shud i buy... ?? Guide me...

    there is a problem for my old GFX card (i assume)...

    screenshots are posting below...



    details of the problem: Im using adobe audition 3, as per in the attachments, the icons in the audition is missing sometimes.. if i hover my mouse on the icons, it appears... this problem is not happening everytime... i've updated nvidia drivers... but no change.... can u help me...

    i have checked Audition 3 in my frnd's desktop and it worked smoothly....

    Your CPU will bottleneck your new GFX, either get a new system or use standard video cards such as the GT440

    mmm..... wat abt ATI Cards ??? wat u mean by standard video cards ??? i cudnt understand... wud u plz describe..... :)

    The second link is an ATI/AMD card. If you get a powerful card your overall system performance will be limited by your CPU(bottleneck). So you should select a low-end card
    If you want some serious stuff get yourself a better system :)

    thank u again.... can u able to say, why r my audition's icons r missing as per in the previous screenshots ?? is that of a graphics card trouble ???

    Upgrade/Update to Audition version 4, v3 was released in 2007 and is quite old
    Try running your current version in Compatibility Mode

    i ran it in compatibility mode.... but the problem persists.... adobe audition 3 worked in my frnd's desktop (win7) without this problem....
