No need to SLI just to run 3 displays.

Here:

Newegg.com - EVGA 012-P3-1571-KR GeForce GTX 570 HD w/Display-Port (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Not according to an EVGA product manager here,

GTX 570 HD?

post #36. And if by some chance it is then EVGA did it on their own as Nvidia hasn't put out a desktop card that can do 3 monitors yet.
Lol wow.

I think you're right. That sucks because it was my understanding that this card supported up to 3 displays.

Thanks mate.

How about the GTX 460 2 Win?, will that power 3 displays?

The GTX 460 2 WIN seems to support up to 4 displays though.

I'm pretty sure.

This card harnesses the power of two EVGA GeForce GTX 460 GPU’s
Two GPU's = four monitors. One GPU = two monitors.

Thanks for the info though, I didn't know that existed.

That would be because it is SLI on a stick, two cards in one,

ntroducing the EVGA GeForce GTX 460 2Win! This card harnesses the power of two EVGA GeForce GTX 460 GPU’s for blistering fast DirectX 11 performance, including tessellation performance that destroys the competition. Experience a whole new level of interactive gaming and combine up to three displays off a single card for the ultimate in 3D entertainment, or disable Surround and combine up to four displays for maximum productivity. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 460 2Win gives you double the win!

Nvidia does not at this time have a single GPU card that can run 3 monitors. For what that card goes for,

Newegg.com - EVGA 02G-P3-1387-KR GeForce GTX 460 2Win (Fermi) 2GB 512-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

if you time it right and catch the GTX 460 on sale, you can get at least 2 of them if not 3 for the same price.

There is not a lot of room in my case so having just 1 card in there would also help airflow too.

So ganged cards like the PX9800GX2 and the PX7850GX2 which have 2 GPU's could run 3 or 4 monitors?
I have both these cards, PX9800GX2 doesn't fit and both cards have artifacts but is this the type of card you mean supports more than 2 monitors?

When those cards came no you couldn't. Nvidia finally enabled it in the drivers, but no idea if it will work with cards that old.

As mentioned these cards are retired (Artifacts) Just kept as souvenirs. Do Nvidia make ganged cards that would still fit in my case?
