    Out of curiosity if my laptop has a lot of dust in it could that be the problem?

    If it is dusty enough and been running too hot for too long, and not noticed, then yes it can and will cause components to fail prematurely. This is true for any type of electronics/computers, and even more so for a laptop with its limited cooling capabilities.

    Added photo of my problem i think its to do with switchable graphics

    Its says you have intel hd graphics when it should say (i think) you have radeon hd 5470 im pretty sure its nothing to do with dust

    Would it help if i did a full search like complete search and uninstall all ati and intel and amd

    Because im pretty sure that the complete os reinstall i did didnt delete everything?
