HPVP 15 no larger than 1024x768

Hey forum. I have a HPVP15 that is 15". My laptop LCD "broke", and I am using this as my primary display. I am absolutely positive that I could get a higher resolution on this monitor as it is clearly close to the same size to my 15.6" LCD display on my laptop that gets 1366x768. I'd appreciate help ALOT.

    Thanks again forum!

This states that 1024 x 768 is the factory set resolution on that monitor.

That's also the native resolution in the chart here,

So, there's no way for it to be a larger resolution?

Have you tried setting a different resolution in Catalyst Control Center?

    Or

Yea, I did. I guess I'll have to live with all the sites not fitting my screen.

    17" (1280 X 1024) monitor from a yard sale, or Goodwill?
