PS: I meanst that this forums transforms the A.F.A.I.K. (W/o dots) abbreviation (<google translator) to it's meaning
eg. AFAIK
oh lol i understand. I must admit, I had to search a.f.a.i.k. (w/o periods) to find out what it meant (and you're right, it just expanded the abbreviation for me as well)

Hi I tried it with my daughters system and did that not open a whole can of angry worms. Some kind of error on game launch something about sxstrace.exe tried looking into it but it was way above my head. So im no further forward. Unfortunately as it stands I don't have a more powerful psu but I will look into buying one round about 650w-750w hopefully not to expensive. And I will try get one with the pcie 6 pin so that I can eventually upgrade the graphics was looking at an xfx radeon hd 6770 1gb ram should be better than what I have.

Nice plans, from 500W upwards most mid-ranged psus have a 6 pin or 6+2 pin power for gfx cards.

But it would make no sense to go over 600W with a braded psu unless you consider a HUGE system upgrade.

cheers

Ordered an 800w not modular though pretty budget brand again EZCOOL ambience has 2 x pcie and its 80+ so hopefully that will be a significant improvement. Got a bit more than the 600w as I was toying with the idea of adding another 2 TB HD and 4gb Ram aswell as the card I mentioned earlier and that will be done for quite a while.

You should have ordered a more trustable one,
good luck with the psu, let us know if you get everything to work!

Well I fitted my PSU today and was playing games for about 30 mins then it crashed. Seems to play for longer nmow than it did before buut still crashing. Could it possibly be my pci-e slot thats faulty? I tried another graphics card in this PC and the same thing happened and that card runs the same game on another fine.

well, it does sound like the motherboard is to blame. Does the same crash happen with other games, or in other Scenarios (ie other software)? Get that crash report to the BSOD team and let them know so that they might be able to help you: Instructions & Forum

PS sorry this is late I had been on vacation o.0
