I tried it on my Win 7 64 bit system and it bombed installing. I had to power off the PC with the power switch and then had to run chkdsk as the SSD drive was corrupted. I tried it again, just to see and it bombed again and did not reinstall the video card driver as it left it at 640X480 resolution.

I had to restart and install the older version to get my system working again.

I have an AMD Radeon HD7770 video card.
    I had to reinstall 12-10.

With all the problems, I'm not going to attempt to install it on my Win 8 system.

I hope 13.2beta is better than 13.1... which seemed to get choppy with crossfire 7970s. I dropped back to 12.11beta since it has been working great. Glad I found this thread.

Just finished installing 13.1 after having 12.11 for a while.
No issues during installation whatsoever, so that made me happy.

Game performance is good, I did notice an increase in performance with skyrim as advertised by AMD, that made me even happier considering I run the game with a bunch of MODS.

Now to test FSX, and Rise of Flight..

Hey guys,i think i have 12.10 (as stated in the catalyst column of catalyst control center) And a friend told me some new drivers came out in the last few days. Now my question, which version and are they performing well? Not interested in Beta drivers, too risky.

Read back a couple of pages.

If you are not a reading let me sum it all very vaguely.
To some people, they were problem free, and create an improvement.
To some other people, it caused trouble, and some had to perform restores in their system.
Some others reported issues with 13.1, but were gone when they tried 13.2Beta.

So. Backup your data, create a restore point before installing the driver. Follow proper instructions with driver installation, and give it a go.

Gotten some lags and screen flickerings with v12.10 and now it does looks a little smoother with v13.1, but it is also about parameters that i might have set and me pushing a little a HD 7770 Oc.

PS: Install was pretty easy and smooth with v13.1.
