Do they fix the wonky 2nd card issue?
    the what...????
You know, the 2nd cards clocks randomly changing, causing sensors to freeze the PC etc

    You noticed it yourself...
    ahh..... the 2D down-clock issue :)

yes its solved most ppl's problem in this regard....... its the primary card or core down-clocking that's the issue, the slave card or core is fine at whatever clock as it never gets used in the 2D environment..

its when the primary card or core attempts to match the 2D clocks of its partner thats when the trouble starts...

for dual monitors the primary core clock must remain @ 400mhz while idle...

for single monitors im sure ATI power-play should set the primary core to 300mhz (on 5 series cards anyway)

but yes...... these new drivers do have the clocking issues resolved, but if you try to OC it'll revert both cores back down to 157mhz again , so there's still work to be done...

I cant find the beta download section for there drivers.
That would be because they don't have one. ATI very rarely if ever releases a beta driver, the majority of them are leaks from somewhere else.

       Warning
These are not from the official ATI website in the first post.

    Enjoy.
    just ''FYI''.....

these are not the 10.1 BETA drivers, they're a polished version of the official 9.12 Hotfix drivers..

im running these myself & i show a synthetic benching drop (vantage / 3dmark06), but gaming shows a serious improvement...

check out these ''Dirt 2'' pics & the framerate......

    maxed out...ultra settings.

this is EXCELLENT performance for DX11, so these are CERTAINLY worth the install.

were still waiting on the 10.1 revision, according to ''Catalyst Maker'' on Twitter, were expecting to see them surface sometime this week... :)
OMGGGGG HOW DID U GET FRAPS TO WORK ON THAT?!!! when i uopen up dirt 2 Fraps shows nothing its nowhere!!!! it works on all my other games. im angry

    For real

I expected it to be released by now. for the most part, they are almost always on target for monthly driver updates ..
