saweet! maybe these will help my crash issues!
The 9.3 has been working out here well for the 32bit side of things being the first tagged Vista/7 beta over the 9.2 Vista release. For the 64bit side has anything replace the Cat. 9.1 yet? I would imagine seeing the 9.4 out now the 9.2 for 64bit would also be seen.
I simply had the 9.1 stored for the change of builds seen lately with the 7077 out. I will taking a look at the 9.4 however to see if that's anything like the problems seen a year back with the Cat. 7.9! Even the patch for that was pointless at the time.
well if you read back a little bit in this thread, you'll see me and Smarteyeball, maybe others, had to install 9.4 manually, as there seems to be something wrong with the 9.4 installation package.
The old 7.9 was a total wash after you got it on but surprizingly went on fast. Unpacking the drivers into a folder first and updating through the device manager may be a better alternative if the installer is no good.
Until the 9.5 or 9.6 sees this corrected fully the 9.3 would seem to be the better option to avoid the installation problems. So far that has worked out well for the 32bit side there.
The problem seen with the ATI.AMD support site now is no option for previous versions where you can pick and choose. The search for those now sees Search Center - Search
Since anything at this time is stll beta for 7 you can see there that only Vista 32/64bit along with XP 32/64bit are listed at their main support site.
I think 9.3 might be better overall than 9.4. I haven't noticed much difference tbh, apart from the dodgy installation.
Unlike Sandman, I still had to manually install the drivers after a fresh install
