If you still have the 9.3 backed up somewhere pass it along here! Otherwise until the 9.5 or 9.6 is out I'll be stuck with the 9.1.

Im still have the same problems with 9-4, hard but not impossable to install and still have multi-display problems. Still waiting on something quick and easy. I've only got 7068 and see an overall improvement
I would remove the 9.4 totally and simply grab one of the older catalyts for the time being. That will save a lot of headaches until the next one or two updates sees all that corrected.
When browsing the drive for storage I ran into the Cat. 9.2 x64 as well as seeing the 9.1. Somehow I forgot to copy that over to the same folder on the x64 partition there.
Hi,
Have same problem as BAATFAM above, only I can't even get my new "Radeon HD 3650 1GB" to display anything past the Win7 Logo Splash (the little rotatating, 4-colored thingy). The OS contiues to boot, as evidenced by much hard drive machination but the screen is black...not even a mouse pointer. Have tried intalling a PCI vid card, along with the 3650 PCIE unit, in hopes of having some type of display whereby I can see to install the 3650's drivers but no luck there either.
This is using the latest (4-9-2009 9.4) drivers from AMD, which are branded as Windows 7.
Appears that AMD/ATI has some more work to do on their Win7 driver set, I guess.
Anybody out there have any insight into this prob?
Chuckie
The Catalyst 9.4 is boogered! I've hearing complaints from several here already on the need to manually install those!
Plus if you have the onboard video enabled in the bios that will hamper things right from the start. You need to get in there to see that turned off as well as going into the device manager later to disable the drivers there as well.
The onboard is conflicting with the new being the automatic default display adapter. Someone just had a link for the 9.3 catalysts I don't have bookmarked at the moment that should go right on and work without problems!
For getting around the 9.4 for 7 problem I'm not sure if anyone has tried substituting the Vista version of that instead to see if those will go on without problems. Drivers & Tools | GAME.AMD.COM
Blast! The only 9.3 I keep coming across is for Linux seen at ATI Catalyst Linux Display Driver 9.3: Download ATI Catalyst Linux Display Driver 9.3
I still have the 32bit 9.2 you can try uploaded to the file sharing link at http://myfreefilehosting.com/f/06c03b88b4_44.01MB
The 64bit 9.3 I uploaded to http://myfreefilehosting.com/f/01d8f03864_61.13MB
Just remember besides which catalyst version you have on that the onboard has to be switched off when installing a separate card.

The file sharing link there is for the 9.2 32bit while the second is for the 64bit 9.3 from the site you linked earlier. The 9.2 was downloaded direct from ATI.AMD some time back and stored locally.
Sometimes you may have to try more then one version to get them to see the drivers go correctly. It never hurts having more then one available.
I would! I think I may have mentioned the problem seen some time back with the 7.9 where the patch they put out for that was useless in most cases! The 7.10 helped a big deal while the 7.11 then saw things cleared up.
The disappointment now at the support site is no longer seeing the link for older catalysts forcing you to look for 3rd party sites still having those onhand. For the old cards then you would expect to end up at guru3d.com or some other site for that.
