    - didn't affect the existing CCC either..

    - which is odd, 'cos BETA's often do that..
Was it an in place upgrade or a 'clean' installation?

A lot of the 'clean' installation Cat betas lately have been showing as 9.12 and the in place upgrades just use the existing CCC version.

Load times went down significantly, ~10-15 seconds now (45 seconds to a minute with 10.3s), but now, right after I join a game, It gets insanely choppy for the first 30 seconds or so.

    What could be causing this?

These were installed over the previous ones (10.3 Preview, before the WHQL 10.3s, 10.3a, 10.3b, etc), no safe-boot Driver Sweeper routine.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Can someone give me an idea of the best way of installing this 10.4 driver. I always seem to have problems with this.

I have tried installing it using the update driver part of device manager - result, driver did not install properly.

I have tried the recommended way of doing it on their website, use program removal, uninstall ATI cat and then install from download - result, driver did not install properly.

This happens time and again for me, can someone help with this process so I can get it to install?

    I'm running Window 7 Pro 64bit.

    Thanks

One method that consistently works for me:

    ►Download and install DriverSweeper

►Uninstall ATI Catalyst Install Manager through control panel.

►reboot into safe mode, run driversweeper as admin to analyze/clean all ATI drivers

    ►Boot normally and then install

Thanks for that, but I can't get the download of driversweeper to run.

When I click on the installer it says:

Then I try without the installer, it says:

    Any ideas what's wrong?
    Thanks

Try redownloading it. Looks like your download may be corrupted.

    Here's another for ya peeps.....

this is apparently the BETA revision of 10.6 (pay close attention to 2D & 3D driver packs)

       Warning
these are 3rd party drivers & are not officially supported by ATI, install at own risk.

now running these myself, same as previous revisions they show a clear improvement across the board...
