Seems that the 10.5 drivers screw up PowerPlay when you overclock.
Hmmm.... I wonder what ATI would say about that complaint :)
If you are implying overclocking is a no-no it's built into CCC so ATI doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

I was simply wondering what ATI would say. Nothing against you. And yes I do agree that ATI knows their cards are overclocked, thus the "Overdrive" tab in their software.

Its just that when you tell tech support you have a problem because of overclocks, they give you the book answer of "we don't support that".

    That's all

OK, so I've been messing with BETA's along the way - my 10.5 installation shows this:

This is what I come up with here. You'll notice a few slight variations which may be from having different makes and models cards.

Probably because you have left overs from the previous beta CCC you were using. Have to get rid of everything from the older CCC/drivers.

Typically I let the catalyst installer for the newer version remove the older as part of the installation. But these are always the final not beta releases being installed. I would follow Airbot's recommendation there of cleaning off all traces of the previous betas and then run a clean install of the 10.5 to clear that up.
