    Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum help


    i had a geforce 8800gtx and i am getting palit
    geforce8800gtx has 128 unified shaders and
    Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum

    has 384 i want to know is the palit geforce gtx 560 sonic platium does it handle more thing then the cpu what i mean by this is does it it make the cpu work less then the 8800gtx and by how much

    Do you...doesn't matter. That question gave me a headache.

    The CPU will work more, not less because it has to provide 'more instructions' to the new video card.

    It will depend on what task you are doing, movie playback for instance is mainly the GPU. Games shared between the CPU and GPU.

    also is intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4 ghz stronbg enought for the graphics card i also use a 1400by900 montior

    will media playback with a same file that i use on the geforce 430 gt play better on a Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum card like will it use less cpu load

    You most likely won't notice any difference playing a movie on a 560 as opposed to the 430.

    The GTX 560 and your CPU will be perfectly fine for media playback.
