    Catalyst is lying to me...?


    11.7 was released on the 01/08/2011 and on the 17/08/2011 11.8 was released... I must be slipping because I always keep an eye out for updates and must have been under a rock when this was released. AMD Catalyst your lying little s***.

    the 11.8 OpenGL_4.2 Preview driver is a good one as well..

Task manager is lying

I have 2 gigs of ram, the taskmangager tells me that I am using 45% of it, and confirmes that under 'performance', where it states that 916mb are in use for memory. But if I sum up all the memory usage under 'processes' i come to about 450mb. What is using the remaining 450mb's ?

i have a ati 4850 and i install all the latest drivers/catalyst etc and when i extend my desktop to my 40" samsung led.. it won't fully display there's like a 1" black border all around. even if i make my led primary it still have the border and i also have the latest upgrade for the samsung. ...
