Graphics card after installation

    Yh the prblem is idk where the onboard control for the integrated graphics control is and im not doing the idiot way where some idiot got a small screwdriver and bashed it off in bios i was on integrated peripherals what will i be looking for ?

    It should be in the bios settings. When you boot up hit the delete key until it boots into the bios menu. From there look for a setting for your video or pci settings.
    It should be under PnP/PCI configuration.

    I did that i changed it from pci to pcie slot still isnt working

    Prior to getting this card were you always running the onboard graphics?

    NO my gtx 580 worked fine then when i installed windows 7 it bugged off

    Try removing the card and reseating it while it's off of course. See if Win 7 plug and play will detect it. This is a strange one.

    Ive already done that to ive destaticed my self and while holding the card i destaticed that to i cleaned the gold pins while non static of course. Ive put it back in again 2 times actually still nothing.

    Well do you have another video card you can try or a another desktop you can put the GTX 580 into to verify that the card is still functional?
    You're original post says when you tried to install the driver it fails. Did you try running a windows repair. Maybe the graphics driver got corrupted somehow.
