Okay so you see,I've been haveing this issue for a while. Everytime I change the screen resolution of my computer,the screen glitchs and does crazy stuff. Like the screen goes gray,white,then has raindow stripes (red,blue,and gray I think.) going horizontaly across my screen. I use Windows 7 Home Premium. Can someone please help me as soon as they can? I suggest you try a stress test like FurMark?

A word of warning. Don't leave it unattended and watch your card temp displayed within the utility - press Esc if it gets to high (above 90).

It just displays a very complex image which requires a lot of processing by your graphics card - hence the heat.
What you need to look for is any distortion in the image as the card works harder. As long as you don't allow the temp to go too high it won't damage your PC.

If there are distortions then you have a problem with your Graphics Card, if the image is okay we need to look for the problem elsewhere.

Ohh okay! One last question,ummm what exactly am I looking for in the picture? I ran it but stopped it cause Im kind of confused of what kind of "distortions" im supposed to be looking xD
You should look for vert or horizontal lines and bleeding or pixelation within the image.
