I need advice for new graphic card to replace my onboard

Been having some problems with my on-board gfx regularly crashing (cheers to Panais for the help BTW).

This is my motherboard ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS M2N68-VM

Im looking for a gpu which is good and cheap. I don't use the PC for gaming, its general home & office use (internet) and I watch the odd video from time to time.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi

If you are never going to play games then an Nvidia GT520 (£40 ish) would be okay, if you think that you might want to play low end games, then a GTS 450 is a mid range card (£90 ish). (Spot the NVidia fan )

Have a look at these links:

    MSI GeForce GT 520 1024MB GDDR3 PCIe

    Novatech GeForce GTS 450 1024MB GDDR5 PCIe

I think the cheaper option would do me just fine. I have the PS3 for gaming. (Do you know if there is a GFX card with a built in digital tuner)

If I get one and install it into my PC will it override the onboard GFX or will I have to disable it.

I'm not aware of a combined card and you'll need to disable the onboard card within the BIOS and remove the driver completly before installing the new driver.
