so i got 3 monitors, and 3 DP -> HDMI adapters, 3rd adapter being the active that enables 3rd monitor.
so everything works up to there except that the desktop is stretched rather than being in a group of 1 x 3 (3 x 1 \ 1x1x3 etc).

hi I have purchased a VTX 7850 and it says it supports up to 4 monitors in eyefinity.
I only want to hook up 3. I'm using x3 CQ1859s 18.5in monitors 1366x768 60hz (only have VGA connections)

Not a problem, but an annoyance to me: Anyone know of a way to prevent apps/windows openening to the full desktop? I have Hydravision installed and I'm using the Grid feature, but it allows attaching to a grid after the app/window is already opened to the full desktop.
