    Windows Classic is forced

    Hello everyone!
I have a windows 7 machine that has been working perfectly up until now. Whenever I turn on my computer, the screen dims and I can't turn up the brightness. I can't use my fingerprint reader, I can't use my wifi, I can't turn on my sound. I don't know what happened, it was working the night before. Also it is forced into windows classic. All I did to it last night was ran the McAfee virtual technician and ran MSconfig to change Windows 7 to the default operating system. And no I don't have another operating system running on my machine It just got messed up for some reason. And also I just reinstalled Windows 7 recently please help.

Is this a desktop system or a laptop? Irrespective, did you check your power settings?
