Hi everybody, i having the same problem but i think can fix it . by using Driver Max software (this software will backup every driver in our a comp when we use) so i think that if you guys know anyone who have the same comp/lap like you and don't have that problem then tell them to backup their driver and then give that for you. Then you guys use that to restore 310m driver and it will work. I belive this will work cause i tried it on my Desktop (my destop can't install Wireless driver) and it work. So if you guys know anyone who has,ask them for backup and share . Unfortunenaly, i didn't backup my lap driver so i need that to. Thanks 1st if someone has and shares

Sony Has Locked Down There Products

Some of you are wondering when you download the right driver for your Sony Vaio graphics why wont it install.Yes you possibly have the right driver but when you try to install you get that message (Cant find hardware compatible etc etc). What Sony dont tell you when you buy there products they lock them down for eg (PS3/Sony Vaio) to stop you tinkering which is why i will never buy from Sony again. After a long hard look on the net i found a solution .You need a modded INF file for your Windows version and graphic driver version. When you download your graphics driver from Nvidia double click and it will exract a folder (NVIDIA) to C drive. Then it will try to install the driver then fail. What you need to do is go to
C drive then click nvidia folder/DisplayDriver then 285.xxx/WinVista_Win_64/International/Display.Driver
Now put the modded INF file in the Display Driver folder to replace an existing one. Then start the installation it should work.If you have any problems message back and i will go through it with more detail.

an INF file is a driver information file and tells windows what graphics card you have, when you install a new driver (from your Graphics card company) it installs the information file and loads the appropriate profile for your card, attached to this post is what you would typically see in an INF file (it is the latest Nvidia driver converted to a txt file).

Sorry for reviving thread but I found solution for this porblem

The problem is with the hybrid graphic card series. Cause manufactures ship their products with on board intel HD card and nvidia hybrid card. Which needs custom drivers.
Fortunately one person found the tweak to get the latest at cost of laptop battery consumption you can play games with latest drivers(cause you need to keep your pc always on High Performance).
