    Screen resolution problem (1024x768)

Well i recently installed windows 7 proffesional and had 1 problem with my screen resolution. After the instalation, my desketop resolution (1024x768) was looking like this .....

And when i lower the resolution (640x480), the entire computer desktop ,icons were huge without the bad graphics.

Any ideas on how i can fix this problem ?

Right click on an empty space on your desktop and go to view where you can make icons small, medium or large.

Welcome to 7 forums and check out our great tutorials.

What size is your monitor or screen if a laptop?

640x480 is pretty low resolution, have you tried updating your graphics card driver?

Have a look at this too,

    Screen Resolution - Display Settings

Filling in your System Info - See Your System Specs will help a lot.

Well i tried everything and nothing seems to work. I have the correct resolution to fit my screen but, it still shows the fuzzy dis-colored graphics on my screen.

    Nentin,
Fill in your system specs and be sure to let us know what kind of graphics card your computer has.
Maybe all you need to do is update the card!
