[Graphic Bug] Windows 7 + Nvidia 8600 GT

    Good night people.

Today, I've installed the Windows Seven Ultimate and the last driver released for my graphic card (Nvidia 8600 GT).

Well, i'm having a problem with this.

The screen on the photos or games are pixelazed, with multiple squares.

    Image showing the problem.

    Anyone can help ?

    :)

    Thx

    [ Some information ]
When I change the colors of the monitor from 32 to 16 bit, the problem stop occuring in the desktop and occurs only in the photos and games

Make sure you have the good driver, if you have, it's a dead video card.

If you haven't already, right click on the desktop and select "Screen resolution". The "Advanced" tab brings up the Video Card Configs:

    Latest nVidia drivers bad?

Try rolling back to an earlier video card driver. I think there is a problem with nvidia's latest batch of drivers... alot of problems with them on the nvidia user's forum.

I encountered some pretty severe issues with Windows 7 and an XFX GeForce 8600 GT card. Full details are here:
nVidia issues & My not so smooth Window 7 experience.

Long story short is that this card worked fine under Vista. Then just after I was loading my software back on a clean Win7 install I started getting display driver errors and crashes and eventually extremely distorted and pixelated display. System was unusable and had to pull the card and revert back to onboard graphics card which works fine.

I noticed 5 capacitors on the 8600 GT that have their caps blown. I haven't been able to try the card in another system to see if the upgrade fried the graphics card.

You may want to have a look and see. Mine went downhill real fast once it started.
