How to connect additional DVI monitor to HDMI port

    The problem, and the good thing :) , with all technology is the pace of improvement, involved, we often only look at the latest options.

    It was not that long ago that the PCI-e x1 was the state of the art with regards to graphics buses, and it should still be possible to obtain reasonable quality output from one of these older fit cards - especially for a 3rd or 4th monitor on the system

    OK conclusions:

    I bought a card called PNY NVS 300 X 1 (not X 16). This card has two outputs that can be either VGA or DVI-I and it works simultaneously with my other card GeForce 210 and with the onboard DVI port for a total of 5 monitors.

    The good thing in this PCIeX1 solution is that there is still one more PCIe X 1 slot if more monitors are needed.

    I hope this is helpful for somebody and thanks to those who tried to help me.
