Code:
Code 43
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
One of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner.

If you have already run the Troubleshooting Wizard, you might want to check the hardware documentation for more information about diagnosing the problem.

While I use Windows 7 on a daily basis, my Windows XP partition is used primarily for gaming. Given that I have an older rig (see system specs), Windows XP is better suited for the task, plain and simple. You might wanna consider taking the XP route when it comes to gaming...

Before installing any new display drivers, I always run the official uninstaller (via Add/Remove) then boot to safe-mode and run the Driver Sweeper utility on top of that. This has proven to be very effective in removing all traces of a given driver; thus avoiding potential problems that may arise from having mismatched files leftover from a previous installation.

The only time I ever received a code 43 was with the 182.50 driver set. I could not get these drivers to work, no matter what I did. All other Forceware drivers (old and new) have worked without any issues. Out of all the drivers I've tested, the 180.70 gave the best performance + IQ on Windows XP.

Thanks for your answer but i am going to try Windows 7 RTM and see if that solves it =)
