    Need Some Help Period

Hello guys, just read my story this is all true.
Okay so I wanted to get a better graphics card so I got this exact card
    Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1370-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

and my computer is a Dell Studio XPS 8100 Service Tag is C06PNL1 for the computer

but anyways, the graphics card I bought fits inside but the problem is that it has two PCI adapters and my PSU wont support that
My PSU is 350 watts at the moment

and I was wondering, is it okay to upgrade my PSU to like a 600 watt PSU?
this is the one i want
    CompUSA.com | CUL-650B | Coolmax CUL-650B Power Supply

dell told me that it could screw up other parts of my computer and void warranty

but should I get it or not? All I want to do is game on my new graphics card DX

    It says here:

GeForce GTX 460 1GB Power Consumption and Thermals | bit-tech.net

that the power consumption of a Windows 7 system with that graphics card is 250 to 270 watts at load and about 136 at idle.

Dell generally uses decent power supplies, so your PSU may handle it OK. Can you get an adapter so your PSU will have 2 and match the video card?

Dell used to use some oddball connectors, so I don't know whether an ordinary ATX PSU will necessarily hook up correctly in your model 8100.

But 600 watts is more than enough.

Might want to reconsider that power supply,

HARDOCP - Conclusion - Diablotek PHD650 650W Power Supply Review

With the PHD650, Diablotek seemingly tried to polish a turd with a turd and as such we got the expected outcome, a pile of crap. Given the horrible build quality of the unit and poor component selection of the unit that is hardly a startling result. With a current price of ~$49.99, users would be better off taking their cash and setting it on fire rather than buying this unit. There is quite literally no price point or situation where the Diablotek PHD650 should be a consideration for users as it failed almost every test possible today. Retailers and e-tailers should be ashamed to be selling such a product.
And then read this as to why you avoid cheap power supplies,

If that is that, then you think I shall go with this one?
    Newegg.com - CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

I am pretty sure it fits with my motherboard and all that. It has enough for my GPU anyways.

That one is much better. It should also fit no problem as it looks like that XPS 8100 takes a standard ATX power supply.

    Also just for another option,

Newegg.com - Antec EarthWatts EA-650 GREEN 650W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Same price (don't rely on rebates for what things cost), and a little more oomph on the 12V rail (dual rails at 38V instead of a single at 40V).

A Corsair or Antec 550 will probably fit the bill nicely as well. :) (Depending on your budget)

I agree, dont skimp out and get a cheap PSU. Just get a good one.

And remember, advertised wattages dont always show the whole story. A good lower wattage PSU will be superior to a higher wattage, low quality PSU.

Antec & Corsair are both very good choices.
