    confused,monitor/graphics card or windows issue?

    greetings :)
okay 2 weeks back i got a new mobo - which is on my spec cause the previous foxconn wouldn't support my also new graphics card as on spec.
so the thing is there was a issue while maximizing the windows (say,my computer,my pictures, browser or similar) there seems to appear a black box around the search (after my bro took it to the local shop & got the new stuff fixed it - was gone). (zip to video [it is virus free] - please watch it several times if you see nothing)
so, today i did a fresh install due to some reasons & this problem appears again (note again: i did see it before sending it to the shop but it wasn't there after i got it back again until the fresh install)
i haven't tried fidgeting with the catalyst control center yet..but i would like to know your opinions, & is there a fix for this?
    appreciate any help and time

This problems sounds like it is software related. I've made a small guide sometime ago here's the link below. You need to follow the 3rd and 4th step (Make sure to remove display drivers before)

well..i checked 4 other computers. & seen the same thing happen.. (black box appearing near the search) so i guess its normal for it to happen in my pc too. & abt noticing that it dissappeared after returned from the shop, must have been some illusion lol . anyway, thanks for looking into the matter.i'll just uninstall and reinstall the drivers once. so im marking this thread as solved :) ..

found a lil thing, if 'enable desktop composition' advance system settings - advance - visual effects is unchecked it those black boxes don't appear.but thing is it removes aero...

edit: wait no.. it goes when aero is disabled
