My new Graphics Card, what should it be?
Hey guys,
So, my previous NViDiA 9500GT 1GB made its way to heaven. And now, I'm looking for a new one to buy.
My Motherboard:
Intel Classic Series
DG43NB
*For the Intel Core 2 Quad and Intel Core 2 Duo Processors
As my motherboard only supports up till DDR2 Rams, I have to buy a graphics card which is for that purpose only. Not a GDDR3-GDDR5 but a DDR2 supporting graphics card.
My Specs:
Currently I'm looking into these:
NViDiA GT 220
ATI AMD RADEON HD 5770
ATI AMD RADEON HD 6770
The problem is that only ATI AMD RADEON HD 5770 512mb supports DDR2 only but ATI AMD RADEON HD 5770 1gb supports GDDR3.
So, how will that work? Also is the fact that a DDR2 limited Motherboard has compatibility issues with GDDR3 Graphics Card true? Or can one buy a GDDR3 Graphics Card for a DDR2 limited Motherboard?
Thanks in advance for your helpful replies :)
