CCC/VISION Engine Control keeps becoming unresponsive

My name should be spelled NutCase77. I'm about to flip my lid with AMD. I upgraded my Radeon 4250 HD shortly after my last visit here (my new Phenom II x6 machine) to one that was released this month. The CCC/VISION Egine Control keeps becoming unresponsive. It started this behavior late this morning (Central Time). It mostly happens after a reboot, but occasionally afterwards. It's the same thing with the dv7 (Radeon 4200 HD Mobile). The CCC that comes with the preinstalled (dv7) and the mobo disc (new machine) always opens really slowly, and post driver upgrade the Vision Engine opens even slower. There's got to be a reason for that. Also when upgrading the drivers on either machine (NET Framework 4 and the 2010 C++ redisits needed to be installed). Why the Frameworks and redists weren't offered through Windows Update beats me.

My main concern is with my new system I'll just give breif detail about (not have to view the info in my profile).

    OS:
    Win7 Pro x64 (SP1 on the disc).

    Board:
    MSI 880GM-E41 (MS-7623)

    Chipset:
    880G
    SB700 (Southbridge)
    Fintek F71889F (LPCIO)

    BIOS:
    Amaerican Megatrends
    V11.11

    RAM:
    GSkill
    1x 4gb DDR3
    Max Band.: PC3-10700 (667 MHz)
    Part No.: F3-10666CL9-4GBNT

    Audio:
    VIA Vinyl HD VT1828S (onboard)
    Line 6 TonePort UX2 (USB)
    RealTek HDMI (version: 6.0.1.6121).

System managed memory and page file.

And here's a reliability monitor report:

    Description
    Stopped working
    Faulting Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\CCC.exe

    Problem signature
    Problem Event Name: CLR20r3

    Extra information about the problem

    Device Manager reports no conflicts.

    SFC finds nothing wrong.

I solved my Radeon 4250 problem. It was because the AppData folders having anything to do with the video card were hidden...although read access was still enabled. So I unhid them opened the Vision Engine without the Error Reporter/Reliability Monitor telling me "Catalyst Control Centre: Host Application has encountered an error and needs to close" (Now the thing is how to go about clearing out the billions of "errors" that have piled up, since my last reply).

I should remove Catalyst Control Center from the list of discluded applications to not be reported (Although useful Reliability Monitor can get annoying sometimes).

    Whatever and however... Case Closed.
