Windows 7: AMD manufactorer that makes solid Video Cards?

07 Dec 2011   #11

Windows 7 Ultimate x64, & Mac OS X 10.9.2

Only faulty card I ever had was a 8800gts but it wasnt faulty.. Lol I sent it off for RMA and got a refund as it wasn't a current model any more.

Spent an extra 80 and got myself an 8800gtx or gt on of the 2. Stuck it in and still had the same artifacts and dodgy purple shading in games.. Turned out to be my ram.. Doh! Still I got a much better card at the time

DVI vs RGB on video cards ?
What are the pros and cons of digital vs analog ports on video cards. I'm a non-gamer that uses some graphics programs at times (Photoshop, etc) Does it matter much whether I use a dvi slotted card or analog or dvi/analog combo card ? Thanks, TR
