Win7....ultimate.... 32 bit

Not for raw data processing, like bit-coin mining. Physx is cool, but, thats all.

I'm still debating between the two cards.

Amazon has the Sapphire HD 6870 in 165$ (which is actually great because i only have 200$ to spend) and the EVGA GTX 560 is 180$ (plus 10$ i have to spend in a HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable)

So far i've seen that both cards are quite similar, theoretically, the HD 6870 is a little bit better, but i don't know how that translate into real world scenarios, the only thing that stops me from buying the AMD one is the fact that i've been using nvidia for the last 5 years so I kinda got used to it!

My mind is telling me to spend a little more and get the GTX 560, plus... The "Duke Nukem Fully Loaded Package" is 185$ in Amazon, it has a free Duke Nukem Forever game, bet buckle, limited edition design and a mousepad

I'm still debating

simple
ati = physix not supported
nvidia = full support (cuda)
physix= next gen gaming MUSTHAVE feature
i bought 6950 yesterday and after a few HRS ran back to the store and threw it on the guy, in a meanwhile asking him to pull out his dusted (rare buying rate) 580 GTX OC .

Fan for ATI 6870 card always running at over 50%
I've had a problem since day 1 with my 6870 where it will run constantly at around 55% even when the computer is idle. It's pretty damn loud and although I can manually turn it down, that only causes the temps to start rising. Speedfan reports the card at running around 53/54 degrees C on idle...

Which card is a better choice? GTX 560 Ti or Radeon HD 6870
I cannot decide which is a better choice the Nvidia or the ATI card. I know the prices are very similar, I have read the reviews and performance tests. It points slightly to Nvidia but I would like someone with experience with the GTX 560 Ti or Radeon HD 6870. (Or very similar cards.) I cant...
