Hi i have just bought an LG 100hz TV and i have the TV connected via HDMI to DVI to nvidia GTX 460, in nVidia panel i dont get the option to change the refresh rate to 100hz, do you have ANY idea how i can use tru motion if the TV is connected to a PC?

Thanks for reply and yes, just before i posted on this forum i downloaded the latest driver and installed. I havent rebooted though as nothing was prompted. For some reason i still only get HD 1920x1080p and 60 refresh rate only. There is an option to customise your refresh rate but when i set it to 100hz and full HD the TV loses signal... Im totally baffled with what the problem could be...
Btw could it be something to do with the cable im using to connect to TV? Im using this cable:AmazonBasics HDMI to DVI Adapter Cable 9.8 Feet / 3.0 m: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
And the cable doesnt look like HDMI 1.4a (i dont know for sure coz doesnt say in description).
Could the problem be that i need a HDMI to mini HDMI 1.4a instead?
Well one thing to look carefully at. Are you sure the TV does 100hz AND 1080P at the same time?
Advertisers lie through their teeth about specs and would have no qualms about saying "100Hz!" and "1080P!" when they mean 1080P @ 60 and 720P @ 100...
Also, sure you don;t mean 120Hz?

Even at 720p i cant get 100hz...
From looking at the specs for that TV and what the "Motion Clarity Index" is supposed to be, I would just set it to 60 Hz when connecting to the computer and not worry about it. It looks like that 100 Hz is something basically specific to LG and not likely to b supported or recognized by your video card or its drivers.
Just out of curiosity, what are the normal LCD HDTV frame rates in the UK? In the US, they're typically 60 Hz, 120 Hz (5X the 24 Hz rate of cinematic movies), and 240 Hz (3D shutter glasses movies). (Plasma, 600Hz.)
Old NTSC video in the US had a frame rate of 60 Hz (interleaved), while the UK standard was 50 Hz.
I hope someone knows how to get a graphics card to handshake properly with an HDMI monitor. I'd be more confident if the manufacturers made Windows 7 drivers for their monitors.
bobkn in the UK 60hz is the standard ive been using for many years now, there is also 200hz and 600hz (plasma as you said). 120hz and 240 dont seem to exist or at least ive not come across them. Im suprised about the drivers too... windows always just installs its generic drivers, you get a CD with LG but its only user manuals (so useful when ive already got the booklet with the TV...)
Humm ok thanks all, i might just contact manufacturer today to confirm, i thought it was the cable but it could be that the TV input only accepts 60hz.
