Well I'm extremely happy with my 6950 2gig card, and the fact that I flashed it to a 6970 and it's been running like that for about 6 months now. In fact it does me pretty good in Skyrim.(although I did rage buy a 1GB 6950 DCII recently to finish of my 1366 rig when I tried to return a faulty GTX570 and the shop refused to take it back. Aside from the fact it was 2nd hand sold as new and smelt burnt from the get go, they wanted 'proof'
The real annoying part is that I haven't been able to replicate the issues, so the 6950 is sitting there as a back up for when the 570 does completely kark it. I actually felt a little dirty buying it :) )
Since moving from 3dfx all I've ever used is ATI single card setups. I don't plan on going crossfire as there are just too many driver issues, even now.
Anyway as long as my single card performs as I need that's all I'll stick with.

I think the majority of my disdain for Cat drivers was due to multi-GPU setups. It'd probably be a different kettle of fish if I'd have gone back to single AMD cards. But it's hard to shake a few years of frustration
Lol, sheer frustration and very limited stock options.
(After the 6th 'do you have this in stock then?' and the resulting 'No', I said flap it give me a damn 6950 then. It's still in it's box, unused... )
