    bsod on catalyst installation


    hi,
    i just installed win 7 rtm. i only installed avira and then tried to install catalyst, but i get bsod during installation.

    i have an ati 3300 (integrated) + 3400.

    any idea?!

    installing as admin did not help. turning off the antivirus did not help. uninstalling the antivirus did not help.

    i reformatted and reinstalled windows: this time i installed catalyst BEFORE installing avira: it worked!
