My Personal experience with updating the graphic drivers from microsoft updates has been a real pain. I would only go to the manufacturers or oem site to update graphic drivers. Just my Opinion.

OK all together now one more time, there is not now and never will be any Windows 7 drivers for any Intel chipset/graphics prior to the 945G because Intel never made one. The best you're going to get for any of them is whatever Windows instals by default (generic and just enough to get something on screen), or use the last XP driver for it,

Intel has no plans to release new XPDM drivers for the following older Intel graphics controllers:
  • Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset family
  • Intel® 82915G/82910GL Express Chipset family

  • Intel® 82852/82855 Graphics Controller
  • Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller
