This tells you the steps you need to go through for it to work, it's a bit more than you might expect, easy enough to follow though.

yeah but i would rather not connect it up using a DVI to VGA as i already use both the DVI outputs on the card for 2 monitors. The whole idea being that the TV is used as a third display that i go to when i need to. In short - i can choose to either use the second monitor or the tv to extend the desktop.
The other way would be to manually switch the cables from monitor to tv but that would mean having to move furniture to access the back of the PC or buy a cheap graphics card with an HDMI

Yours has 2 dvi with an s-video is what i think it is called mine has the same 2 dvi with s-video as you can see.

Now me personally i tried to connect my tv up using the s-video like you with the other moniters but it wouldent give me the full 1080p with nice graphics.

Just for the heck of it unplug your other monitors and see if the tv turns on.

Does your tv have an s-video port on it so you can plug it in direct? Instead of with the s-video to component converter?

What i did is i used a dvi to hdmi converter and my 48" tv looks real nice with that set up.

Just a stupid question for those who know more about graphics cards: Can his card support 3 monitors? Or just 2

Strictly speaking it is not an S-Video connection it is a 9 pin DIN connection, similar family to s-video but with more pins so carries more information.
The TV doesnt have an s-vid input and i would rather not use a DVI as i would then have to manually switch between monitor and the TV.

The question about how many monitors the card supports is - it supports 3 monitors but can only output on 2 at a time.
