I didn't see any newer drivers other than 190.38...which caused issues with my EVGA 9800GT+. (namely, during gaming my video card fan would spin up and then would never spin back down on it's own once the card cooled down). Since the rest of my box is very quiet, this was extremely noticeable. I've gone back to the previous 186 drivers and everything there has been fine.
I'm not really sure what you are trying to say. Even when I finish my game and my machine has sat idle for 10-15 minutes my fans are still running at 70% on my video card...versus the previous driver experiences where after about 2-3 minutes my box was down to 35% on the fan which is almost unnoticeable.
Gotcha. I found the problem on the Nvidia forums after I had posted on the eVGA boards trying to come to a reason why my card was doing this. Once I get my final copy of Windows 7 in Oct, I'll reload the OS and use the newest drivers then and see what happens. For now, the 186 drivers are working quite nicely and I'll just leave well enough alone.
This is strange because I'm running the 190.38 and the steroscopic 3D is turned off by default. Having no problems at all with mine.
