    Driver question

Ok so this is for Nvidia users..
The reason for this thread is actually the driver kernel error
So I ask you gusy, which one do you use..
    I see 3 options right now.. :

-1) 275.33 older driver which Ive been told to install because they're more stable
-2) 285.62 this is the current WHQL but with that kernel/power management issue
-3) 290.53 this is the current beta.. still with the issue

Using here r285.62 here, no issues whatsoever. Numerous users on the Nvidia forums were reporting that the drivers newer than r275.33 were causing issues but Nvidia fixed the problem in next releases. Afaik for those who still experience the issue have defective hardware. You might want to RMA your card.

That's the problem, this TDR error isn't a driver 'bug'. Bad hardware is the cause

r280.26 had those issues but these were fixed in later releases, the new drivers are perfectly stable. Replacing your card might be the only solution since it's not software related

Well on a sidenote, the fans attachement of one of my Asus DCII 570's feels lose and makes squeaky (lack of better word but it does lieterally squeak) noise when you check if it's loose
Update.. been to the shop and that's no card/manufacture error
So I guess it's time to test both cards separately and see if there is a problem..
But honestly I doubt they already fixed the power management bug.. Im going to go 285.62 for now

Sidnote This thread was not for an issue originally, was wondering which drivers people are running but yea
