RE-Need a Graphics Card to fit PCI Expres x1 on Dell Dimension 5150

I apologize to the members of this Forum who replyed to my original Tread..... the system specifications are still the same as posted in my original Thread, but for 2 exceptions.....the power supply max. output is 230 Watts NOT 250Watts and in fact my mother board does have a PCI Express x16 connector(PEG).....I feel stupid and I am sorry about this mistake.
So again I respectfully still need help in finding a graphics card that will fit in that PCI Express x16 connector and if possible for this card not to use more than 35 Watts of power because my main power unit only puts out a max. of 230 Watts.
    Thank You...again!

    That makes more sense.

    Dell recommends some upgrade cards:

(Radeon X1300, 2600 XT, 2600 Pro.) They're oldish cards, but Dell lists them as if they're still for sale. (At high prices.)

Here's a list of graphics card power consumption:

A Radeon 3450 would work. The most powerful card might be a Radeon 4650.

What's the object of the upgrade? At some point, it would make more sense to upgrade the while PC. (I see that the latest BIOS update for it was from January of 2007. No official Win7 support from Dell.)

This would work a lot better (unless you have a thin case) Newegg.com - HIS H577FL1GD Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
    Now it needs a 450 watt PSUNewegg.com - Rosewill Stallion Series RD450-2-SB 450W ATX V2.2 Power Supply
In budget with the rebate, slightly over without....

However that ancient processor is the main problem

Thank You for the help....unfortunately this MOBO will not accept a 450 Wattage unit (Dell made sure of it)...I tried a 300W units, after turning on the comp. I got an orange blicking light and the computer would not start.

Sure the 300 watt unit was good?.....Anyway I would look more towards getting a upgraded system, due to the weak CPU and possible Power supply problems....I got the wife a discounted Emachine at Walmart for $298....dual core Athlon, 6gigs ram....Installed a Corsair 430 watt power supply and a Radeon 4830, more power than she needs:).....

Brand new Newegg.com - HIS H775F1GD Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card......Max power draw is 55watts....Running on this systemTest Setup And Benchmarks : AMD Radeon HD 7770 And 7750 Review: Familiar Speed, Less PowerIt draws less than 200 watts total system power Power Consumption : AMD Radeon HD 7770 And 7750 Review: Familiar Speed, Less Power That's about the best that can be done.....

A 6450 Newegg.com - XFX HD-645X-YNH2 Radeon HD 6450 512MB 32-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card Draws a max of 29 watts AMD Radeon HD 6450 512 MB Review - Page 20/26 | techPowerUp , but I don't think you will be happy with the performance...This video looks ok FSX - Fokker 100 - Radeon 6450 1GB - YouTube but only the plane/sky is shown, throw in some buildings/airport......

The 7750 is the better card, not great but should improve by 10-30% as more optimized drivers come out....The 6450 will work if your not picky about resolutions/quality:)
