Installed new video card now no boot and no beeps
I've been building and upgrading PCs for a while and never had this happen before. Any help would be great!
I'm running on an Intel DP55WB motherboard with a PCIe 2.0 x16
I pulled the old Radeon 4600 series video card and put in a XFX Radeon HD 6770. When I try to boot it up, the lights and fans come on, but I get no signal to the monitor, no beeps, and the pc doesn't boot.
It had a thermaltake 600 AP power supply in it (which should be more than enough) but I put in an Antec 750w high current gamer supply in and same no boot. I then thought there might be a problem with the slot on the board so I swapped the old card back in the same slot and it booted right up. At this point all I can think is that the card is bad out of the box, any thoughts before I have to go deal with RMA?
