Netflix causes computer to freeze, popping and buzzing noises

I have a VPCCW17FX Sony Vaio. For the last week or so, I have been unable to watch Netflix videos without constant freezing and the sound popping and buzzing (after a minute or two it continues playing). I'm not sure whether or not this started before or after I uninstalled/reinstalled my internet drivers, (midterms stopped my video viewing cold) but they shouldn't be related, should they? Sometimes after this error, I get a popup message that says my NVIDA graphics card stopped working. (I havent been able to capture the exact wording.) I was going to try un/reinstalling the graphics card, but when I went to, I found I wasn't sure what to do. Do I do it to "NVIDIA GeForce G210M" under display adapters, or "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" under Sound, video and game controllers. In addition, "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" is actually listed 4 times in my device manager. Which one do I uninstall? Each one says that the best driver is already installed.

Am I even trying to do the right thing? Is there something else I should do? Youtube, Hulu, and Amazon videos work fine. Only Netflix is causing this problem.

its not just Netflix after all. Just had it occur while on Hulu. But it is definitely most prevalent on Netflix

Uninstall the Display Adapters driver for the G210M, restart, and go to:
    Drivers - GeForce
search for your driver and select your OS x64 or x86 and install the downloaded driver. See how that works out.
