Pixelated, and strange colors in pictures.

Hello, I will first introduce myself shortly as I am new to this forum.
I am steven, I use computers a lot for my hobby and for my work. I am an electronic engineer and do a lot of photography.

I have a problem that I can't get solved, at home I have a server, a desktop PC, Mediacenter pc and a laptop. I normally always manage to solve the problems by reading posts. also a lot here! Then people here dont have to answer questions 100 times over

As I really can't solve this problem I thought it might be a good idea to try this one time.
As I am travelling I use my laptop to store my photos. (I use a canon EOS 550D) so the pictures are of good quality.
If I open the photos on any computer the images look good!
When I open them on my laptop the colors (especially black) are strange and look pixelated.

I just figured out that its not only just photos. it is any picture that my computer displays. for instance facebook...

I tried updating the drivers of my video card, also tried older versions of the drivers and it keeps displaying them wrong.

    some system details:
Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 @2.00 GHz
    3.0GB RAM
    Windows 7 Ultimate x86
    Videocard:
Mobile Intel 965 Express chipset Family.
    Mobile Intel GMA X3100

This is a photo I took of a part of the screen:

This is a jacket, where the black should not be pixelated at all!

Can anyone help me with this problem?

You could try installing the drivers in Vista compatibility mode or from Windows Update..

Infinite is right. It's a driver problem for sure. However to be more confirm, I would ask that did this problem start after any specific event? Or was it a prevalent problem?? Please explain the situation.

It may also be a network issue for example I used to have a mobile internet dongle which pixelated images but let's do the basics first.

By all means check out the drivers first!.....But it looks like bad video ram Diagnose video card problems by comparing with example corrupted screens

Thanks for the replies! I tried installing the old drivers with vista compatibility. It looked like it was a little better. but it made my computer crash sometimes. so that wasn't the solution.
it is defenetly not the internet connection as it doenst matter if the photos are on the internet or from my computer. it does the same with movies....
so it must be the drivers.

Funny that you talk about the video ram:
I noticed a difference in RAM with different drivers.
With the windows 7 drivers the video RAM was 64MB. with the vista drivers this was 128MB.

I installed Windows 8 consumer preview on the laptop. same problem...
