    Have you checked the health of McAfee? I know it has a health check utility that can be downloaded to see if there are any corrupted files in the software. McAfee Security Quicktart HealthCheck

    I ran McAfee Virtual Technician and it fixed a few problems. I have attached a log file.

    See how the system responds now that McAfee has been repaired. I have seen McAfee corruption result in Windows instability in the past.
