    It's ok but in certain high bit-rate movies/videos there are a few noticeable stuttering and crazing especially in frame transition.
    What program are you using? is the stuttering mostly with some .MKVs?

    The HD 3000 series is a bit better but I don't know if it is enough to solve the stuttering problem.

    After that I have no idea. I'm not very familiar with discreet graphics cards (since Sandy Bridge I haven't had the need)

    I use vlc media player. However the problem occurs with windows media player.

    Does your VLC change the color scheme to Windows Basic (it would tell you in a bubble at the beginning). If that is the case, turn the Aero off for a test with WMP and see what happens.

    What plugins are you using in order to play .mkvs? They may not be using the system's resources efficiently. After that I'm out of ideas.
