Need a higher watt psu that's quality, for a low quality psu the most you could get is a very low end card. Like Ivan said what kind of case is it in and also how much you willing to spend?

I believe some of the low end Radeon cards can run off a 250 watt. I am talking the X1050 series. Problem is, since I doubt they make these cards anymore, finding them may be next to impossible. I recommend a PSU upgrade to AT LEAST 500 watts, and then you can get a 256 - 512MB card. Best bet is to get a PSU at 600 - 750 that way you can run pretty much whatever card you want. PSUs are really cheap if you look online, so it won't set you back much.

It's not easy,or cheap to get a power supply if he is running a slimline case....In addition the x-series is in legacy support status the Vista driver is for a 32 bit OS http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...w_vista32.aspxMay or may not work with his 64 bit system....

Looks like you have the i3 with HD 2000. How much of a performance boost do you need? an i5 with HD 3000 may be sufficient, depending on what you are doing (it will run Skyrim, then again Skyrim runs on my Pentium at near-minimum settings...).

Thanks a lot for all your valuable advice. What should be the ideal power rating of the psu that I must opt for my slimline case ?

My usage mainly consists of web browsing, word, excel ppt works, handling pdf's and watching movies/listening songs, and occasional printing.
