    Really Blurry on ATI x1200

    Hey guys,
I just installed Windows 7 and everything works fine (so far..)
However, everything is blurry, not too blurry that I can't read anything, but blurry enough to be annoying.
I'm not sure it was a driver issue, because Windows Update did not install the driver because it said a newer one was already installed.
Just in case, I rolled it back, and reinstalled it. Also, I got the new Catalyst Center (it probably didn't help).

So, does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

    Hey Jackster,

I too am having the same problem with my Nvidia 8600 GT card too. Everything has like a halo around it. I am using the 64 bit version with an AMD 64 fx processor. I have the 32 bit version on another nvidia card (7300 GT) with a pentium D processor. Images are clear and crisp on the 32 bit but not on the 64 bit. I do not think it is special to the video card. While looking for new drivers for windows 7 beta I ran across a lot of postings for ATI cards and not many for the Nvidia card. Do you have the latest drivers from ATI? They were just released a couple of days ago? Good luck.

    Thanks,
I messed around with it for a bit and tried to download some new drivers. The issue was that it couldn't really install. There were compatibility issues with the .exe file. However, almost by luck, I ran across this one program/built-in device, which can update it from a "disc". All it was looking for was a .inf file I think. So, I just looked through the folder that unpacks with the ATI files and clicked the first one I saw. It restarted the computer, and afterwards, it was fine.
Maybe that will work for you too?
I don't know, but I'm glad this worked out, because everything is just a lot better now.
Windows 7 is a whole lot faster than vista :)
