Still a 116 error.
Did you work through these steps?
* If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.
* Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.
* Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.
If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.
* I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps

No I have not, Mainly because I have not been able to "borrow" another graphics card and the only other way would be to buy a new one...

The only reason I mentioned it was to illustrate the fact you need to do all the possible things in the 116 list.
Might be a driver, or power, heat, configuration issue, or the card itself.

Ah Ok I see what you mean. I would love to get hold of another card and try it to see what happens... just to put to rest simple things like is it windows, or power, or heat ect.
Im sure there is enough power, I have a 730watt PSU. Heat isnt a problem. So I am left to assume that its the driver or maybe the card its self :/... hmmm

Unfortunately, everything you did before installing SP1 for windows was futile, as this package requires it.

Notes.
- When installing the AMD Catalyst driver for Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Catalyst driver.

Thank for shearing that very informative information from AMD. I followed all the instructions word for word and even disabled my anti virus, turned off my firewall and exited my webcam software. As stated I uninstalled the old AMD software and reinstalled the new versions one. . . unfortunately this had the same exact result as before, the install manager gets up to where it installs the driver, the screen flickers off (as it warns it will) and then the next thing I see after that is the BSOD.
As far as I can tell, there is no AMD software that has been installed (Catalyst Control Center or Hydravision etc.) and on average when I open my games up, I am able to navigate the menu, but as soon as the game loads or just after, it then freezes and AMD comes up with an error message. The usual one saying that the display driver has stopped responding but has successfully recovered. :/
