    I have this problem after changing locale for non-Unicode programs changing the size doesn't help. Here is partial solution to the problem (because I still have some minor problems)

I have a strange annoying display problem. basically my windows and the desktop and such do not automatically refresh themselves like they usually do. For example i deleted a folder sending it to the recycle bin. it still goes to the recycle bin however it is still shown in its previous location...
