Sorry, miscommunication. Recommended for total(average) system, 38amps(456 watt PSU).

Humm are you over or under clocking? Do you have any kind of power management?

Okay never mind it is your psu. Your under powering your machine.

bugmeister thanks for the helpful replay telling me a have a corsair cx 400 just like i already listed really helpful info.

i ordered a new power supply a few days ago a corsair 750w tx v2. My first card was running fine and my card will play games for hours on end but when browsing the web or anything desktop related it gives me the display error every 3 to 5 mins you would think if it was power supply related when stressing it in games would make it fail or give me the error not in power save mode on the desktop.

try the upgraded PSU - if the card is still nerfed - RMA it a second time..

ZeroCoolll, while your frustrations are certainly understandable, you have to understand that we are troubleshooting over the air.

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    Upload the .zip file here.

Thanks to zigzag for those steps
